Omnific Pictures is currently working on a documentary film for poet E Spoken (right, above), a direct descendant of Joshua Halsey, victim of the 1898 racial massacre in Wilmington, North Carolina. The film features E Spoken’s original powerful spoken word poetry and explores the complexities of healing generational trauma.
Shooting locations include Wilmington, North Carolina; Montgomery, Alabama; and several locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
